The warm sunny days of summer are here and the glow that we feel is good, we need to enjoy them whilst we can. The time is right to order your requirements for LOGS to help extend that warm glow into autumn and winter, here we have been and are working hard, to ensure we have good stocks to complete your orders.
Those people who are organised have had deliveries already, perfect as the longer you store your logs the better they are seasoned. Here at Olus we have some barn dried logs and these have started on the journey of being seasoned.
It is now a perfect time to get your logs in, to get them stacked in your LOG STORES and to continue the process the longer they are kept the better the process. Getting air through the logs so that they dry to the core is the aim.
We have slatted LOG STORES for sale on our Heritage Conservation site, these can be made to measure, our STANDARD LOG STORE is 176h x 60d x 154w cm, this takes a HALF LOAD OF LOGS.
Why now? With the weather as it is to fill your log store is a much more pleasant job this time of year, as stated to carry on the seasoning process, to ensure you have them before the poor weather starts as everyone requires them then and delivery times are longer.
We can supply LOGS, seasoned logs, in a LOOSE HALF LOAD, FULL LOAD, in a BULK BAG and in a NET for people with a small storage area. We have KINDLING in NETS, FIRE LIGHTERS in boxes, and COAL in 25KG bags from £9.75 a bag.
