Which Product for Project?

Which Product for Project?

Posted Feb 1, 2012 by: Sarah Hagan

The Sales Team at Olus have all worked for the company for several years now, and as the seasons come and go, we have learnt what to expect from each turn of season.  The main view from our office looks out towards the pile of green waste as it breaks down and gets turned into our fine 10mm compost.  At the moment our view of this pile is framed by the skeletal trees, as the trees start to bud and come into life we know that the busy period is about to happen and the green waste inputs will start to increase, as everybody takes to their gardens. This is, as we have learnt, the calm before the storm.

We have also learnt that this increase in green intake, means the time has come for the annual increase in the compost and topsoils output at the site and we are poised with our paper, pads and calculators for the next stage of the seasons.  Many of our Spring questions from customers relate to how much and what product to buy for a particular garden project.  We often listen in wonder as customers say to us “Oh I’ll just go and measure the plot”, and we have visions of the customer striding out to their garden, armed with a tape measure, but still clutching their cordless phone.

With our range of products from 10mm compost, through to top soils, bark and mulch, the sales team at Olus are more than happy to advise and guide you through this process.  We have a calculation guide at our disposal, which means if you take the measurements, we can work out the volume quantities you require for each project.  Don’t worry – no questions are dumb questions, we literally have heard them all before, and it can be a bit of a minefield trying to calculate these measurements.  Whatever your query we will do our best to guide you in the right direction and provide the correct product for your needs.

We love to talk but why not try out the quantity calculator in our new online store
