Heritage Products are very pleased and proud to announce that we have met the high standard set by the Soil Association and have been awarded the Soil Association Approval for another year.

The Soil Association was founded in 1946 by a group of farmers, scientists and nutritionists they, observed the connection between farming practice and plant, animal, human and environmental health.

In order to achieve this award we at Heritage Products have to provide the source of origin for all materials used in our Compost, Top Soil and Easi-grow, provide records of intakes and quantities ensuring this is accurately recorded.

As Olus is part of the green waste kerbside collection scheme, we provided full details of the screening  and to separation process the waste to ensure contaminants are removed.

This therefore results in a stabilised product that is free of pests, pathogens and weed seeds which we at Heritage Products use for our Compost.

Every year we have to re-apply for approval to ensure that our products meet the target. An inspector is sent to visit us, action summary sent identifying areas of improvement, once the actions have been improved then the Certification is given.

Soil Association certification means that when you purchase a Bulk Bag of Top Soil, Compost or Easi Grow bag from us you can be guaranteed that we are 100% Organic and your compost can be used in Organic systems if required!!
