Catching up with the Black Jug Horsham!

Catching up with the Black Jug Horsham!

Posted Dec 10, 2013 by: Heritage Products

Well as some of you may know the Sales Team here are busy out and about promoting our Logs to local businesses.

In this weeks Blog we are focusing on one of our favourite pubs in Horsham, The Black Jug.

We recently caught up with Ally and the team there to see how 2013 has treated them and also to thank them for their loyal custom. They have also recommended our logs to other local pubs.

Over the Winter Season, I can think of nothing better than relaxing in front of an open fire, drink in hand, chatting and laughing with family and friends.

When you walk into the Black Jug you are greeted by really friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

This is the feel that Ally and his team work hard to create; they pride themselves on being very unique especially when it comes to style within the interior of the pub.

For you foodies out there you will be happy to hear that the food is freshly made on site. Menus are changed monthly so people never tire of the food created; menu varies from Fish and Chips which seem to be a favourite to Duck Breast which is another favourite.

You can also choose from a selection of Burgers, Steaks, pie and fish dishes, just to mention a few.

As the Black Jug is located very centrally in Horsham it is no surprise that they are very community focused and participate in a lot of local events.

Events include Sussex Food Month, which runs the course of September. This year they contributed to the Beer Trail and also to prize giveaways.  Horsham In Bloom is another local event which they took part in this year and were the winners!

Events are held ad-hoc so make sure you keep your eyes peeled, these include live bands on Sundays during the summer months and more recently a whisky event sampling a host of different whiskies this was a success so may well be happening again the future.

In early March 2014 they are taking part in Food Week so keep your eyes peeled for further information.

With Christmas parties in full swing the Black Jug started taking their first bookings for Christmas as early as July and now they're nearly booked out.

If you haven’t arranged a venue yet for your Christmas get together there may still be availability so do not hesitate to contact them and see.

The Black Jug will be open throughout the whole festive season including Christmas Day from midday until 3pm for drinks only.

It was great to catch up with Ally and his Team, enjoy a coffee and see how 2013 has been for them!

I can’t think of anywhere better to see in 2014 so....

We at Heritage Products would like to take this opportunity to thank Ally and his Team for their support and to wish them all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
